Keynsham Methodist Church - Clubs and Organisations
UNIFORMED ORGANISATIONS
We support a thriving Girls Brigade Group - 3rd Keynsham unit - who meet at the Key Centre on Tuesday evenings from 6 - 7.30pm, providing activities and spiritual nurture for girls from 4 - 16 years.
A Rainbow Guide unit and Brownie Guide Unit meet at Queens Road Centre on Tuesdays (5-6pm)Â and Wednesdays (6.15-7.45pm) respectively throughout the school terms.
I promise that I will do my best, To love my God, To serve the Queen and my country. To help other people and to keep the Brownie Guide Law.
The church has built good links with these groups and supports the leaders in their work.
KIDS CLUB
This is an inclusive club providing for children in school years 4, 5 and 6, for those of any or no faith.
Kids Club is held fortnightly on a FRIDAY evening at the Queens Road Centre between 6 and 8pm. The club creates a 'youth club' type atmosphere with a tuck shop and chill-out room, and places an emphasis on choice of activities. We also provide opportunites for children to take part in group games and activities, encouraging and developing positive social skills and corporate team work. We do have a waiting list so please contact the church office for details initially.
