Keynsham Methodist Church - Messy Church
MESSY CHURCH
We began MESSY CHURCH at Keynsham at the beginning of 2012 and all have been really well attended.
There is a real buzz of excitement and anticipation as the helpers open the doors at 3.30pm. Mums, dads, carers and grandparents arrive with their children. As they arrive they are invited to play some table top games, with refreshments available. Then the MESS really starts! Children of all ages enjoy a wide selection of crafts all around the chosen theme. Plenty of paint, glue, and clay! And a variety of other crafts for those who aren't so keen on the Messy stuff! A short time of learning and sharing and singing about God before sharing a cooked tea together. There is a really happy atmosphere - so come along and join us - we welcome families from our local schools in the community.
We plan to hold MESSY CHURCH about every 6 weeks - so book the date of our next ones now!
