Keynsham Methodist Church - Under 5's Care, Toddler Group
The Church Family Worker has very close links with all the pre-school groups - visiting regularly, leading story time and supporting staff and parents.
Led by a team of committed staff, the pre-school is held over nine 3 hour sessions each week during school terms, and also provides full day care. The staff aims to provide a warm, caring environment for the children, offering individual care and attention, the support of a key worker and a curriculum based on the Foundation stage Early Learning Goals.
There is a waiting list for places, and you are advised to make enquiries well before your child is 3 years old! email : qrps@btinternet.com
TODDLER GROUPS
We have 3 sessions running each week during school term time with provision for toddlers and babies and their parents, grandparents and carers. We make a weekly charge of £1 and provide a craft activity; a baby area; outside play area (at Queens Road); and physical, construction and imaginative play opportunities. A great place to meet and make friends--- for mums,dads, grandparents - and of course, the children!!
Approximately once every 5 or 6 weeks a short time of ˜story praise' is led by a group called "Noah's Ark". They share together in songs and bible stories and it always includes a visit from the much-loved puppet "Teddy" who always brings along a suitcase of interesting things!
QUEENS ROAD TODDLER GROUP
Meet at the Queens Road Centre on Tuesday afternoons from 1.00pm - 2.30pm.
BABY COMES TOO!
Meet at the Methodist Key Centre at Victoria on Wednesday afternoons from 1.30pm - 3.00pm. New members welcome.
Also on Friday mornings 9.45am - 11.30am.
