Welcome to Eco Church: A Rocha UK’s award scheme for churches

Complete the free online survey for your church and earn points based on how you care for God’s earth. When you earn enough points you will receive a bronze, silver or gold award. We’ve got loads of resources to help you and your church express your care for God’s world. The survey takes you through five key areas of church life:

Eco Church is a scheme for churches in England and Wales. 

If you are a Church of England church in the Diocese in Europe then you can participate in the Eco Church programme and work towards an Eco Church award.

If you live in Scotland please head over to Eco Congregation.

If you live in Ireland please head over to Eco Congregation Ireland.

If you are a Catholic community (church, parish or school) please head over to Live Simply run by Cafod.

A Rocha UK is a Churches Together in England member and accepts the CTE's Statement of Belief. As such, we welcome any church or organisation (where applicable) that supports this to join the Eco Chuch scheme. 

All CTE Member Churches accept this Basis though an exception is made for ‘any Church or Association of Churches which on principle has no credal statements in its tradition and therefore cannot formally subscribe to the statement of faith in the Basis provided it satisfies 75% in number of those full members which subscribe to the Basis that it manifests faith in Christ as witnessed to in the Scriptures and it is committed to the aims and purposes of Churches Together in England and that it will work in the spirit of the Basis’. The Religious Society of Friends is a member of CTE under this clause.
