The Church Leadership Team has produced a Vision Statement for 2020 that was agreed at the General Church Meeting in April 2009. We believe it sets out an exciting pattern for our development and growth over the next ten years.

KEYNSHAM METHODIST CHURCH
20:20 VISION STATEMENT
KMC exists to demonstrate Gods love to all those we meet and serve. By 20:20 we will become a younger, larger, growing, more inclusive, more active community of Gods people.
Stepping out in faith, we will:
- offer a wider variety of worship styles and experiences
(by listening to those whose worship needs are not currently being met and acting upon their hopes and dreams)
- support initiatives that reach out into the local community
(including supporting linked groups such as Pre-School, Toddlers, Churches Together in Keynsham & Saltford (CTKS) projects, CAMEO (Come And Meet Each Other), fellowship groups)
- develop a deeper, more confident life of prayer across the church community
(by identifying and encouraging prayer times with a specific focus and by extending the links between the prayer table and The Hub)
- strive for a fairer, greener world
(by expanding our mission projects, becoming a Fairtrade church, and becoming an Eco congregation)
- involve everyone in the work of welcoming and pastoral care
(by teaching that everyone has a role to play in this work and by examining new ways to support the large network of care already in existence)
- make more followers of Jesus Christ
(by being bolder in sharing our faith stories and by engaging in a 12 month cycle of opportunities for exploring Christian faith and nurture)
