Hosted and Performing at Keynsham Methodist Church

The Watoto Children’s Choir are touring the UK and at our invitation are being hosted by Keynsham Methodist Church for a weekend.
This amazing choir is made up of children looked after by Watoto’s holistic care programme that seeks to encourage, school and look after orphaned and vulnerable children and women in Africa. The organisation provides education, medical intervention, counselling and all this with a Christian ethos.
Since 1994 the choirs have toured internationally helping the children to grow and develop as people. The concerts are performed with an African flavour as well as by colourful children with beaming African smiles! The music is wonderful and inspiring!
Over twenty children will perform for us in Victoria Methodist Church on Saturday March 17th in the evening. We can assure you that you will be moved and thrilled by their music and message!
We have also just heard that on May 13th they will be performing at the Diamond Jubilee Pageant at Windsor before the Queen!
Other concerts are being arranged locally for the Friday and the Sunday evening and it is likely that they will also sing in the open air on the Saturday in Keynsham outside Victoria Methodist Church (weather permitting!).
