Keynsham Methodist Church - Prayer Ministry Team
We have a Prayer Ministry team which offers a prayer ministry for healing in its widest sense, which may be for yourself or for someone else. When you come forward for prayer we shall ask you who and what the prayer is for, which might include:

Physical healing
-
For anxiety of mind
-
For a troubled spirit
-
For a relationship that has broken down
If you prefer to remain silent we shall pray that Christ will meet you or the situation or person for whom you are praying at your point of need.
We offer prayer not with power of our own, but in the name and power of Jesus Christ, the Healer. We believe that God wants His children to be whole.
You can choose to receive prayer either at the Communion rail or away from it, or both. The particular arrangements may vary between our two worship centres and will be explained on each occasion. We presently offer this ministry at each morning or evening service of Holy Communion.
The healing ministry team operates under a code of strict confidentiality. If you would like the Minister to be made aware of the situation, or for prayer to be included in our wider prayer ministry please let a member of the team know.
Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people” (Matt 4 v 23)
Jesus said, “Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Matt 11 vs 28 & 29)
