Keynsham Methodist Church - Waiting on God
WAITING ON GOD
This is a time of prayer for current issues at home and abroad (church and
community). We also pray for individuals whose concerns have been brought to the
group.
Anyone can approach us through the Church office with prayer concerns. We would like to encourage people to join us, regularly or occasionally, for all or part of this hour. (11.30 - 12.30 each Wednesday).
Usually the prayer topics and the theme inspired by a Bible passage have been prepared in written form in advance with space for individual concerns on the day. If anyone is wanting to pray with us, but unable to join in for the whole time, a sheet can be available to take away.
There is no expectancy for everyone to participate verbally if they do stay to this midweek, calm oasis of time together with God.
Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he will strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. (Psalm 27:14)
