Keynsham Methodist Church - Sunday Evening Worship

On Sunday evenings we have a combined service at 6.30pm which will alternate between Queens Road and Victoria.

Often the Sunday evening service will not be the regular preaching type of service. Sometimes there will be a cafe-style worship or a Taiz-style service. Taiz is a place in France where an international ecumenical community of Christians was founded in 1940. It is famed for its style of prayers and music which we emulate in our Taiz-style services (see services this quarter for details)

On the second Sunday of each month we meet together at Victoria at 5.00pm for Sunday Nite @ Vic. This is a time for fun together for all ages, when we begin with food (in the Key Centre adjacent to Victoria church), take part in a variety of activities or just chill out. At about 6.20pm we come together for informal worship with the SN@Vic band and finish about 7.00pm.

The activities on offer will vary with the theme for the evening. There may be a music or dance workshop, a craft activity, and a relaxation session. There is generally a chat room for discussion, and there may be games and activities specifically for the children. You just choose on the night what you would like to do!

If there is a fifth Sunday in the month we join with the congregations of other churches belonging to Churches Together in Keynsham and Saltford (CTKS). The CTKS services rotate around the different Christian denominations in Keynsham and Saltford. See services this quarter for details.
