Keynsham Methodist Church - Sunday Morning Worship

On Sunday mornings we generally have two 10.00am services, one at Queens Road and the other at Victoria. Sometimes we have a service when the two congregations combine for a joint service. See services this quarter for details. The main elements of worship will include music (hymns and songs), listening together to passages read from the Bible, prayers, and the proclamation of faith and the gospel of Jesus in a sermon.

Our Junior Church (including creche provision) follows a varied programme across the month, meeting primarily at the Queens Road centre. See the details on the Family Worship page or click here for an overview.

There is an activity area available for babies and young children to use under supervision at the Victoria Centre and a similar arranged at Queens Road as well as a regular creche facility.

On the first Sunday of each month at our Queens Road Centre we have worship in a more informal and contemporary style.

On the third Sunday in the month we have an All Age Worship service at our Queens Road Centre when the youngsters stay in the church for the whole service and we make worship provision for all ages.(as well as creche provision if needed.)

On the fourth Sunday we often have an additional early service called "Breakfast Bites". This begins - as you might expect - with Breakfast at 8.30am and is followed with family activities, crafts, games  and worship. It is very informal and ideal for families who wish to learn and worship together. This is held at The Queens Road Centre.

Services on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays at the Queens Road Centre follow a more traditional format, and Holy Communion is held on the second Sunday.

If you would like a quiet reflective start to Sunday we have a monthly early morning Holy Communion service at 8.30am.
