                                                      Bible Study and House Groups                                                 

At Keynsham Methodist Church we have a variety of groups who meet for study and discussion around topics in the Bible and current issues. Some meet on church premises and others in people's homes. Below is a list of the different groups and an insight into what  they offer.


The Monday House Group

This group meets on the first Monday of each month in the homes of some of its members. Dates and venues can be found in the weekly church notices. We begin and end with prayer, and tea/coffee to conclude. We generally discuss topics from booklets which may be Bible studies or topic based with biblical references. 

The Seekers House Group

This group meets in the evening on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month. A supportive group which shares in Bible Study and its application to our lives. The group begins informally with tea and coffee and ends with prayer.

The Tuesday House Group

This group meets on alternate Tuesday evenings.

1st Wednesday of the Month Study/Discussion Group

This group meets for discussion at 7.45pm in the lounge at the Queens Road Centre using prepared material, beginning with tea and coffee and ending at 9.30pm.

The Fringe

This group meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month between 7.30pm and 9.30pm. Bible study and discussion is shared and guest speakers are invited.

The Thursday House Group

This group meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7.30pm for discussion and fellowship.

L.A.D.I.E.S (Learning And Development In Every Situation)

This all-female house group meets on alternate Thursday evenings in school term time.

Pub Group

A group for young adults who meet fortnightly on Thursday evenings in a local pub, to discuss current issues of interest and concern.

Sunday House Group

This group meets monthly at 4.00pm for Cake, Singing  and Sharing.
